INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE FOR SURGICAL INSTRUMENTS
DECONTAMINATION AND CLEANSING
Always carry out washing and cleansing, even before first use.
Cleansing can be manual or performed with ultrasonic instruments.
A soft plastic brush is recommended for manual cleaning.
Always use a specific cleaning agent for cleaning surgical instruments and ensure that all surfaces come into contact with the cleaning agent (channels, lumens, cavities and openings).
RINSING AND DRYING
After cleaning, rinse the irons thoroughly with water and dry them with a soft cloth in accessible parts.
For non-accessible parts, we recommend using compressed air.
STERILISATION
After cleaning/drying and before use, subject the surgical instruments to a complete wet-steam sterilisation process (autoclave instruments with open hinge).
The steriliser must comply with EN285 and the sterilisation process with EN554.
