OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FOR SURGICAL INSTRUMENTS

DECONTAMINATION AND CLEANING
Always wash and clean, even before the first use.
Cleaning can be done manually or with ultrasonic instruments.
For manual cleaning, we recommend using a soft plastic toothbrush.
Always use a specific cleaning agent for surgical instruments and ensure that all surfaces are in contact with the cleaner (channels, lumens, cavities and openings).

WASHING AND DRYING
After cleaning, rinse the irons thoroughly with water and dry them with a soft cloth in the accessible parts.
For parts that are not accessible, compressed air is recommended.

Sterilization
After cleaning/drying and before use, surgical instruments should be subjected to a complete steam sterilization process (autoclaving open-hinge instruments).
The sterilizer shall comply with EN285 and the sterilization process shall comply with EN554.
