OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FOR SURGICAL INSTRUMENTS
DECONTAMINATION AND CLEANING
Always wash and clean, even before the first use.
Cleaning may be manual in nature or performed with ultrasonic instruments.
For manual cleaning, we recommend using a soft plastic toothbrush.
Always use a specific cleaning agent for surgical instruments and make sure that all surfaces are in contact with the detergent (channels, lumens, cavities and openings).
RINSING AND DRYING
After cleaning, rinse the irons thoroughly with water and dry them with a soft cloth in the accessible parts.
For parts that are not accessible, compressed air is recommended.
Sterilization
After cleaning/drying and before use, the surgical instruments must be subjected to a complete wet steam sterilization process (autoclaving open-hinge instruments).
The sterilizer must comply with EN285 and the sterilization process must comply with EN554.
